Our Story
Our History
Abundant Heights Ministries was founded by Derrick and Annette Bean in January of 2024 because of a passion for helping to reduce hunger in school-aged students in the summer months. In addition, this organization was created to assist families in coping with financial and emotional stressors by providing financial management, career development, and mental health services to help individuals reach their full potential.
They intend to enrich lives by implementing programs for community outreach and reducing food insecurities by feeding students lunches during the summer months. They’ve accomplished this with a collaborative effort from 35 donors and partners serving two counties in Pennsylvania.
